We loved the location of the cottage, just a short walk from the town center and close to shops, restaurants, and bars. The parking can be a bit tricky, but there is a large and affordable car park nearby. The cottage itself had a lot of character and the modern facilities and fresh decor were a nice touch. The shower was excellent and the owners were very accommodating, even waiting for us to return and collect a forgotten item.
The cleanliness of the cottage could have been better.

The cottage was very comfortable and self-contained, with a nice bathroom. the location was key, being close to the center with a good variety of shops nearby. Parking was also great, with a pay and display just a short walk away. the cottage had a characterful charm and the Hive heating system ensured it was always warm and cozy. the comfy bed was a definite plus, and the provided WiFi and board games were great for entertainment.
Some aspects could have been improved. the kitchen items were not fit for use, and it would have been nice if there were complimentary items available upon arrival.

My recent stay at Dugdales Cottage was nothing short of fantastic. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. Despite its compact size, it had everything I needed for a self-catering stay. I was pleasantly surprised to find additional items like milk, juice, tea, coffee, and toilet roll provided. The bedroom was spacious and the bed itself was incredibly comfortable. The cottage's central location was also a major plus, and the instructions provided for key collection and arrival were easy to follow. I highly recommend Dugdales Cottage as a characterful hideaway that offers the best of both worlds.
There were a couple of minor drawbacks during my stay. The parking situation was a bit tricky, as there was only a small space in front of the cottage that required careful maneuvering to avoid blocking the neighbors' access.
